With the goal of spreading awareness while fundraising for our scholars, She's the First UF is proud to host our Third Annual Day of the Girl Summit on Sunday, October 22nd 2017. Four years ago, the United Nations declared October 11 as International Day of the Girl Child to raise awareness about all issues concerning gender inequality around the world. This event is a brunch-style conference where people come together under the same goal to highlight, discuss, and take action to advance rights and opportunities for girls everywhere.
This summit's theme is education, diversity and empowerment. We will have a series of presentations and a panel focusing on a wide range of topics including purpose, resiliency, leadership, and more! We hope to make this fundraising summit a day full of inspiration and impact on not only the attendees, but the trailblazing scholars we help support.
All Genders Welcome!
